November Fun!

November 1st:  Bronx loves to 'read' books to us.  He thinks he is just so BIG!
He gave up napping in his crib about a month ago, and because nap time is just SO precious for him (and me!) I just went with it.
Monday, Nov. 2:  I had a very special delivery from a daycare family!  The Elgersma's brought me these sweet goodies as a way of saying 'thanks'!  I absolutely LOVE pumpkin bars and these were absolutely delicious!
Nov. 3.  Another beautiful fall day!  So thankful for the warm weather and fresh air!  Brooklyn is finally warming up to Jaxon!
This picture is one of my all time favorite daycare crew pictures!  Poor Norah did NOT want her picture taken, and the look those other 3 are giving her is just priceless!  My 4 little blondies!
Nov. 4:  Bronx helping out the window washers!
Saturday, Nov. 7th:  Boston's first basketball games.  The very first game was against the other SFC team!  It was a fun game to watch.  Boston's team won both games for the night!
 Boston guarding his friend Jackson!
Sunday, Nov. 8:  Bronx loves doing puzzle games on the iPad!
Another special delivery from the Elgersma family!  Popcorn, bran muffin mix, granola bites and the sweetest cards about why the girls are thankful for my daycare!  I'm so thankful that I get to take care of such awesome kids!
Nov. 10th was an early out day for the kids, so these 2 got to come to daycare!  They are just too fun and I miss having them here more!
Wednesday morning, Nov. 11th, all 3 of the boys got their flu vaccines!  Brigham was so excited he could get the mist for the first time! Poor Bronx was the only one who had to get the poke!
Friday, Nov. 13:  Brigham & Bronx had eye appointments!  Brigham broke his glasses (that he had only had for 1 week the night before the appointment!).  He is struggling with self confidence in wearing them after a little boy in his preschool class has been asking him questions about them so has broke the last 2 pair on purpose.  Thankfully insurance covers an unlimited number of frames in 2 years!  We have definitely gotten our money's worth!  Brigham's new eye prescription won't be quite as strong as it has been this last year, so hopefully they are more comfortable for him to wear.  Bronx checked out ok, but the doctor did say he has similar eye's as Brigham, so to be prepared for glasses in the future.

 DQ for lunch!
Brigham's new frames are black instead of Brown!
Bronx loves to eat celery for snack!

Halloween Fun...and some puking!

October 29th, we celebrated Halloween at daycare!  The kids love dressing up and doing fun games for the holiday's.  We played Ghost Bowling and had Bloody Fingers (hotdogs) for lunch!

Friday, October 30:
Brigham had his Fall party at school!  The kids sang some songs and then we played some fun games.  Brigham got so into the songs and actions it was just SO cute!
I could watch this video over and over.  So sweet!
Brigham acted totally normal at his party... so on the way home from school when he started to cry and say he didn't feel good I thought he was just fooling me.  We got home, he crawled right into bed and 2 minutes later he had thrown up all over his bed.  'All of my blankies have puke on them! Even the stinky blanky!'  Poor dude!  It was a long afternoon and a lot of laundry!
About 6:00, Bronx came upstairs from playing and he laid down on the floor, pulled up his shirt and started whining that his tummy hurt.  Here we go!  10 minutes later we had another mess all over.  Bronx freaked out if we took him by the bucket or trash can, so we had a LOT of mess on towels and blankets..  Thank goodness by 9PM we were down throwing up and everyone slept all night!
Saturday, October 31:
The boys acted pretty normal during the day, but still weren't eating much.  We decided not to do too much for trick-or-treating, but since I went to the work of making the little boys' costumes, I figured we better at least dress up for a bit and stop by the grandparents houses!  We had two neighbors who were sweet enough to hand deliver candy for the boys because they knew the kids had been sick and that we wouldn't be trick or treating around our neighborhood!

My little Linus and Charlie Brown!
Boston could never decide what he wanted to dress up as, and at one point even said 'I think I am just too old for trick or treating!'.  Of course the day of Halloween he wanted to know if he would still get candy if he didn't have a costume.. of course not!  So he threw on some Stephan Curry stuff and dressed up as a basketball player :)
 Linus and his blanket!
First stop was Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa's!

Second and final stop, Grandma Glady and Grandpa Les'

The end of football & soccer season!

October 12:  Bronx loves Jaxon!
Headed to daycare after school one morning!  Gracie, Chloe & Brigs.
They are all such good friends!
Tuesday, October 13:
A beautiful night for another soccer game!  I love Brigham's energy and excitement about it!
His little tongue hanging out just cracks me up!

Oct 14:  These gorgeous fall days are awesome!  Daddy was off work today so we ran some errands & made a stop by the park for a bit!
10-15:  Bronx is usually the first to wake in the morning and loves to crawl into our bed.
Saturday, October 17:  Boston & Brigs went with Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa to the annual pumpkin party in Iowa with Lisa's family so it was just Bronx and I for the day...and we got to cruise around town in Grandpa's new pick up!  Bronx loved that!
He also loved that he got to ride the horse at HyVee!
 Keeping entertained by his shadow!
10-18:  These handsome boys are all ready for family pics!
Monday, October 19:  Boston's last flag football game of the year!  He had a fun time playing!

Thursday, Oct 22:
Boston had to create something out of a pumpkin.  This was as creative as we got :)
Brigham's last soccer game!  He had a blast and did not want the season to end.
Saturday, Oct 24:  All of my boys!
We are trying to minimize the amount of time Bronx has his paci during the day so we started keeping it in his crib and telling him it's only for bed time. He just sneaks on in, closes the door and sucks on it for a bit.  Ha!
10-27: Someone stayed cozy in our bed after we had gotten up for the day!
Oct. 28:  The boys in awe of the first snowflakes of the season!
