Wednesday, August 24!

Back to school!  The summer FLEW by again.  The kids were excited for school to start, but I am sure in a week they will be wishing it was still summer break!  When Blayke woke up at 6:15 I checked to make sure Bronx was still sleeping in his bed and I couldn't find him... he had wandered downstairs to snuggle up with his big brother!

 Next year all 3 of these boys will be off to school together!

I made him take one picture with me before he ditched us to go find his friends!  I guess when you are in 4th grade, you don't need mom around for 1st day of school pictures!

Life long friendships are such a blessing!

 Brigs and Gracie!  So glad these two are in the same class again.  That one familiar face/friend in class makes it just a little easier!

Blayke fell asleep shortly after we got home from school drop off and she slept 3-4 hours!!!  The house was so quiet having two of her brothers gone at school!

Thursday

I put together this little headband display for Blayke with a little twine that we had at home!  

Mom loves buying headbands!!

We finished up one last outdoor project!  Our bushes have not been doing well for a few years now, and our ornamental tree died so we started over!  Hoping it all comes back in the spring!  

Friday, August 26

I took Blayke in for a weight check since it was her official 3 month birthday!  She weighed in at 11 pounds, 4 oz.  Her length was the same as it was at 2 months..21.5 inches.

Our last full week of summer break!

Tuesday morning, August 16:

Now that Bronx has been joining us in our bed for almost 3 MONTHS... it's not cute anymore..

until I capture this.  He sure loves his daddy!

Grandpa Les & Grandma Glady spent the day with all the school aged grandkids!

We had Bennett & Makinli over to play on Wednesday!  Kinli loved helping with Blayke!

 We went to Oh My Cupcakes for an afternoon treat!  So yummy!  The kids had the Donut You Want A Cupcake and I had a Strawberry Fields cupcake.  Delish!

Thursday, August 18

Boston had his friend Cain over to play!  We had promised him a play date this summer & thankfully we were able to sneak it in just in time!  The summer just went too fast!

 Blayke has never cried during her bath & now that she found herself in the faucet, she's super smiley too!

Friday

Dad has the weekend off, so we ALL love that!  We took the boys to see the movie Pete's Dragon.....but first Bronx needed a cat nap!

 Brought the exersaucer up so Blayke has another place to 'play'!  She was all smiles for her daddy!

Saturday, August 20

4th Annual Gary Hemmer Scholarship Golf Tourney.  I wouldn't miss it!  My partner was definitely handsome enough, but his golf skills weren't anything to brag about:)  

 Saw this rainbow in the sky on the way home from the tourney.  

I shed a few tears thinking about God's beauty and all the fun memories of growing up around Gary!

 Bronx hasn't been sleeping in his own bed, so it's time to put a gate up!  He thinks it's funny now...

 This little princess has never really taken a pacifier so I still try different ones once in awhile.  Today she decided to take this one...and she had it in her mouth a lot!

Monday, August 22

Tuesday, Aug. 23

The boys keep saying they will miss Blayke when they are in school.  So Sweet!!

The boys wanted to do ONE LAST FUN THING before school started, so we rounded up a group of friends to join us at Sky Zone!  It took Bronx a bit to warm up to the idea, but as soon as Otto came he started to have fun jumping!

 Bronx fell asleep in his OWN bed!!

 Cinnamon rolls all ready for the first day of school breakfast tomorrow!
