The Baby Game!
Above this post is a link to an "Expect Net" baby guessing game! Click on the link to make your guess! If it doesn't take you directly to our game, you can enter the game name BabyGerdes2. We did this when we were expecting Boston and it was fun to see everyone's guesses. I printed it out as a keepsake for Boston's baby book and will do the same for Baby #2! Tonight at the supper table we asked Boston what his guess was. At first he guessed boy, but then wanted his guess changed to a girl (which he calls Cherry by the way!) He thinks the baby will weigh 6 pounds, be 6 inches long, and be born at 6:00 at bed time. He was on a roll with the 6's! He picked March 26th as the baby's birthday which is ironically our dogs birthday! We all know how much Derek loves Jaxon so i'm sure Derek is wishing for a different date in March :)

The baby loves country music and so do I!
Last night my mom, sister and I went to the Miranda Lambert Revolution concert in Brookings! Eric Church and Josh Kelley opened up for her. They were both very good performers! Miranda Lambert is one of my favorite country singers so I had been looking forward to this concert since we got our FRONT ROW & CENTER STAGE tickets a few months ago! The "pit" (standing room only) was in front of us so we weren't techincally right in front of the stage but we were still VERY close! I caught a drum stick from Eric Church's drummer so Boston is enjoying that this morning! I had to get out several different tupperware containers for him to bang on. He was a little disappointed that I only had one stick for him and no drum, but his dad made it very clear that a real drum in our house was never happening. Here are some pictures from the night and a few video's! I absolutely LOVE country music :)
Josh Kelley
Eric Church! I was not sure what I would think of this guy but he was great, and i'm huge fan now!!
And my girl...CMA Entertainer of the Year... MIRANDA LAMBERT!!!!
And the very end of her show after the crowd hollered for her to come back out, she brought out Eric Church and Josh Kelley for a few songs. It was so cool!
Eric Church- "I love your love the most!"
Miranda Lambert- "I guess I should have been more like that"

South Dakota Childrens Museum!
Yesterday, Boston and I and our friends Renae and Jada Elgersma, went to Brookings to check out the new South Dakota Childrens Museum! It was so much fun! Such an incredibly cool thing to have so close to home! Here are some fun pictures of our day there!
The first stop was the Body Shop! Boston was the mechanic (you can see he is resting rather than working!) and Jada was the receptionist. She loved talking on the phone!
Boston changing a tire. I think he knows more about working on cars that I do!
Next, we made a stop at the grocery store! This was so cool! Boston was more into working the cash register than he was about the shopping. He must take after me because grocery shopping is my LEAST favorite thing to do!
Renae & Jada
"Where there's a helpful smile in every isle" HyVee may be in his future :)
Jada was all about buying meat! I think she grabbed every steak available!
A stop at the farm! Boston attempted to milk the cow. I think he was disappointed nothing was coming out!
And there it was...the BIG DINOSAUR! We ventured outside to see it up close a bit later... Let's just say he enjoyed the dinosaur from inside alittle more than the up close and personal view!
Boston liked climbing on the clouds! I think this was his favorite part of the Museum.
Boston & Jada making music!
Hiding out in the "tent".
A kid-size bed in the Sod House. This was pretty cool too!
Boston & Jada enjoying some coffee together in the Sod House.
The barn!
Playing in the kid size house!
The water room!
Painting!
Sand Art
The biggest lite brite ever!
Sweeping in the Kids Cafe! I've taught him well :)
He enjoyed being on pretend TV as the news anchor!
And finally...we ventured outside to see the BIG DINOSAUR! It roars... and moves! Not so fun for Boston!
I made him run over close to the dinosaur for one picture. It took him about 10 minutes to get the courage! As soon as i was finished taking the picture he ran back inside!
We had such a great time! If you haven't been there, I highly recommend checking it out!

Pregnancy Update!
Believe it or not, I can't think of anything fun and exciting to talk about other than the pregnancy! Life has been busy as usual but I haven't had my camera out taking pictures like I usually do, so this blog post is going to be all about the pregnancy and baby #2! I have been VERY blessed this pregnany to feel so great as I know many people who get sick daily..even after the first trimester. My pregnancy with Boston was quite easy as well so I thank God for that! Other than a 2-4 week span in the first trimester that I felt queezy and just very blah at times, I have felt great since about week 10! My belly is growing and the baby is VERY active! I never remember feeling Boston move around this early, especially this much, so it's been very fun. Such a neat little reminder throughout the day that there is a little miracle growing inside of me.
We have the baby furniture purchased and set up. I put all 4 pieces together myself.. I know some may find this hard to believe but I can honestly say that I am better with tools and instructions than Derek is. Handy work just isn't his thing. (My dad will agree with me!) All of the furniture is still standing after several weeks so I think I put it all together right :) Next on the agenda is PAINT! I figure I better get started before my belly gets to big and i'm not mobile enough to do it!
Last night Boston said he heard the baby talk in my stomache :) When I asked him what the baby said he replied "Hi Mom, Hi Dad, Hi Boston". It just melts my heart that he is so excited for an addition to the family.
My doctor appointments have all gone exceptionally well. Everything looks perfect on the ultrasounds, the heartbeat is always right where it should be and i'm right on track for weight gain, which is always great news! My next appointment is December 6th, and I will be a few days past 24 weeks!

A Sleeping Bag Party!
My neice Paisley came and stayed over night last night. Boston had been looking forward to this all week! They are only 2 months apart in age and have so much fun playing together. Believe it or not, they actually get along really well, which I cannot say the same for my sister and I when we were younger. The toy room downstairs is an absolute disaster but no sense in cleaning it up until it's time to take Paisley back home! I think they took out just about every toy imaginable. Last night we got out of the house for awhile and took the kids to Texas Roadhouse for supper, and then I ventured over to Toys R Us with them. We were browsing for Santa idea's! When we got home we got the kids all settled into their sleeping bags and they watched How To Train Your Dragon. Here are a few pictures from our fun night!
