Boston had his very first sports tryout!  We are considering the Tea Tempo league for year round club soccer, so he had a tryout.  He was kind of nervous at first (Mom was nervous for him!) but once he got going he was fine!  He ended up having a lot of fun, and said he wanted to go back!

Blayke and I watching Boston scrimmage with the other kids trying out.
The Snyder's helped out with Brigham & Bronx while I took Boston to his tryout.  They got to go on a boat ride at Wall Lake!  Brigs jumped off the boat and even got to ride on the tube with Mason & Cole!  He loved it!  They said Bronx hardly said a word on the boat!

Wednesday
'Me hode Bwayke Ehwin mommy?'
He calls her Blayke Ellen all the time!

It was a sunny day, so we had a photo shoot with Blayke in her swim suit!  It was a little too bright outside for her but she looked adorable as ever!

She doesn't seem to be losing any hair!  It's gotten a little lighter and in some light, has a reddish tint to it just like Brigham did!

Boston had a 5:30 baseball game, so the whole family went to watch!  The boys have been playing really well and winning by 10+ runs most games!  The 7:30 games get a little late for Brigs & Bronx so on those nights either Derek will go alone, or we will have Grandma Glady & Grandpa Les help us out so mom can stay home and get the boys to bed on time!

All relaxed and ready for bed!

Thursday, June 23
The boys got to have a playdate for a few hours at the Feenstra's!  They had a lot of fun.  They miss their friends!

Blayke is 1 month old!  The month has gone so fast.  We are loving every minute of life as a family of 6.  Blayke is a very easy going baby!  She doesn't cry very often and sleeps awesome!  We still have her sleeping in the rock and play in our room at night.  She does nap in her crib once in awhile, and does ok, but definitely sleeps best in the rock and play!  If it's nap time, I usually put her in our room or her own.  It's just never quiet enough for her to nap in the swing or bouncy seat in the living room!  For the last week or two, she has only been getting up once a night (typically around 3:30 AM), and then sleeping until we are up in the morning!  On Wednesday night, we switched her from the Target brand of formula, back to the same Similac stuff they had given her in the hospital, hoping it helps her with her pooping issues.  Unfortunately, if she takes after here mama she'll be dealing with these issues her whole life!  She usually goes #2 once a day, or once every other day, which is pretty normal, but she grunts and seems so tight all the time.  Some days when she is up for her middle of the night bottle, she will grunt in her sleep and still be grunting mid morning and she hasn't even pooped yet.  She doesn't cry with it, which is a blessing, but she also doesn't look real comfortable or relaxed either.  When she is awake she is constantly fidgety or moving her arms and legs around.  On the rare occasion she is still and quiet, we all look at her to make sure she is ok!  We haven't noticed a huge difference in the grunting since we switched her formula, so we also started a probiotic today.  It's just 5 little drops that we put in her bottle once a day.  Hopefully that helps get her digestive system working better.  She still fits in her NB clothes, and is also still wearing NB diapers!  I had ran out, so tried a size 1 and they were just too big so we made a run to Target for another box of NB's!  She is still a little peanut, but for sure filling out and changing!  Other than a few smiles/smirks in her sleep, we haven't gotten a smile out of her yet!  We are anxious to see it!

She was not loving the photo shoot mom was attempting!
