Clearwater Beach, Florida to Celebrate My Mom's 60th!!

Mom finally put her toes in a sandy beach & saw the ocean!  Clearwater was beautiful but you could have given me 80 degrees and sunshine in the middle of no where and I would have been happy!  The warm sun felt SO good after our long ass winter in SD.  It's hard to leave our kiddos for trips like this, but this break from the real world was much needed and much enjoyed!  We flew out as a group on Saturday evening, March 30.  A fun family trip to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday!
Looking down at our Hotel from the roof top bar across the street!
Way past mom's bedtime!  We didn't get checked in to our hotel until after 11PM but dad was ready to explore!
We woke up Sunday and enjoyed a full day of sunshine!!   While I was enjoying coffee in bed...and the quiet... Derek went and had his coffee near the water and saw this dolphin!

 Morning walk on the beach!

The hotel pool was our fav hang out spot!  Nova was such a good baby on the trip!
Hardly knew she was with us!

Cousins!  Jenna, Taya, Keisha, Jamie & Lacey.
After hours in the sun we cleaned up and went for drinks & app's before Derek and I went on our Dinner Cruise!

They had some great local brews!

 Our Yacht!

The sky was overcast so we didn't get to see a sunset while on the water but it was still beautiful!

Monday was a little gloomy most of the day but we stayed plenty busy!

Tattoo Time! We all decided to get a simple cross in memory of our Gramps!  Jenna & Taya added their cross to the other tattoo they had planned on getting, and the rest of us went with a cross near our ankle.  So sweet and simple.

Taya had a few more kids to get tattooed on her.  The handwriting for Krew Andrew is grandpa's... so awesome!
This is Jenna's new tattoo!  Turned out so neat!
A neighbor told us to check out Surfside TapHouse.  It had my favorite beer!

Tuesday, April 2nd!  My mama's 60th Birthday!!!

The whole gang!   The morning was gloomy and it poured on our walk to breakfast...but the sun did shine again in the afternoon so we soaked it up!

Derek found a favorite beer too!

 Keisha & Jake
 This sand was SO SOFT!

We had dinner by the water to celebrate mom's birthday!  Gorgeous view & weather!
My mom and her youngest sister Kristi!

The pigeons were fearless and just wanted food!

This pose was even Derek's idea.  I sure love him!

Derek and I caught the sunset tonight.  So beautiful!
