Verse A Day

Hollywood Studios

Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa were flying home later in the day, so they opted to do some shopping for the day while we went to Hollywood Studios.  That meant our taxi driver was leaving, so it was our first day of taking the shuttle bus from the condo.  It didn't leave until mid morning, so it gave us some time to relax a bit in the morning.   We said our goodbye's to grandpa & grandma (yes I even cried.  Ha!) and got on the shuttle just fine!  It was getting off the shuttle that turned a bit disasterous. As soon as the shuttle got just far enough away that we couldn't run after it, I realized I had left the diaper bag ON the bus.  The diaper bag was also my purse for the trip, so my cell phone, park passes, cash and credit card were ALL left behind.  I wish Derek would have taken a video of me in the parking lot because I would laugh hysterically at it now, but I lost it.  I bawled.  Maybe even freaked out a little bit.  We couldn't do a thing without the park passes.  Thankfully we called our resort on Derek's phone, who helped us get in touch with our shuttle driver.  He had one stop after he had dropped us off, and then he came back to the park to deliver the diaper bag.  He got a $50 tip and a huge smile from me.  Not a fun way to start off the day, but so glad it all ended up just being a 45 minute delay in our fun.

Bronx thought he was pretty big stuff getting to eat his banana like a big boy!

The boys waiting for our shuttle to come! I was a bit nervous about how the day would go without my dad or Lisa to help us!
After we got our diaper bag back, we headed off into the park.  One of the first things we did was go the Disney Junior Live Puppet Show.  The little boys just LOVED it!!

Bronx yelled 'Mouw Mouw' (Mickey Mouse) the entire time!
Princess Sophia

 Doc McStuffins

Jake & The Neverland Pirates!

The Little Mermaid show!

One of our favorite parts of the day was our meal at Disney Junior Play & Dine!
Princess Sophia was first to come to our table!

 Handy Manny!

The boys waiting patiently for Jake to get to our table!

 More autograph's in their books!

One last high 5 for the boys!

And he even blew me a kiss :)

They did a lot of singing & dancing with the kids.  This was great for keeping them entertained between characters at our table, especially when we were done eating & still waiting for Doc McStuffins!  The boys were ready to go but I really wanted to see her!!
Doc finally made it to us!!

Honey I Shrunk The Kids play land while Bronx napped in the stroller!

 Sully & Mike!

Mike & Sully didn't do autograph's, but they were some of the funniest characters we met!

 The Green Army Man!

When he got tired enough he just fell asleep in the stroller for his naps!
The Beauty & The Beast show for Derek!  He loves the Beast.

Stunt Car Show!  This was pretty neat!  Bronx didn't want to sit still, but the other 2 boys really enjoyed it!

 Lightning McQueen & Mater

Our $8 turkey leg that we all took 1 bite of!  We spent a lot of money on food at the parks, but it was so convenient to just grab drinks & meals when we needed to, rather than packing up food from the condo and hauling it around the parks all day.  We did bring in bottles of water & pop, and some other small snack type things for the boys, but a majority of our food we just bought throughout the day.

Before we left for the day Derek & I each took a turn to ride the Aerosmith Rock & Roller Coaster!  It was fun!

 I went first!
Then I entertained the boys while Derek rode!  Luckily we had Fast Pass's for this one, so it was a really quick ride!
As we made our way out of the park to get to our shuttle ride home, we walked through the Osborne Light Show.  It was SO cool!!

One of Boston's favorite things of the day was seeing this shuttle bus full of Super Hero's as we waited for our ride.  It got to be another long day for the little ones and it was chilly, so that made them extra cranky!
