Baseball Games & A 1st Birthday!!

After Blayke's birthday party on Sunday, May 21st we headed to Boston's baseball scrimmage.  The boys were supposed to play in a SEBA tournament all weekend but because the weather was crappy and it rained so much, they cancelled the tournament.

Blayke is already trying out her new chair from Aunt Lacey!  She also thinks it's funny to squirt her Gerber snack pouches all over the place!
Monday, May 22
Brigham's FIRST baseball game!  He was excited & did great!

Tuesday
Blayke fell into the coffee table and banged up her forehead.  I felt so bad!
It took all day, but with a lot of mom's help we finally finished Brigham's new USA NBA puzzle.  Of course when I went to take his picture he had to Dab.  We sent Grandpa Ron the picture since the puzzle was a gift from him & Lisa and he wondered what the hand gesture meant.  We asked him to send us a selfie of him Dabbing, but instead we got one of Grandma Lisa!  Not bad Granny!

Wednesday
Blayke is sure loving her dolls!  It's so fun watching her hug them, give them a blanket or bottle!
Morning coffee on the deck!
Thursday
Mom didn't feel well, so thankfully Brigs had a playdate with some friends for a few hours because we did a whole lot of nothing at home.  You had a blast at Trey & Ryder's house!  Your friend Evan was there too!

Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa stopped over to give Blayke her birthday gifts.  They were out of town when we had her party, so they got one-on-one celebrating!
Grandpa helping Blayke open the gift HE picked out for her!  Her first Cabbage Patch Doll.

Those rolls are cute now princess... :)
I always get a little emotional when it's the night before a big birthday!  Just knowing that the next day they are a year older.  This first year with Blayke flew by.  They always do, and they seem to move even faster now with 4 kids.  I will miss ALL things baby in my life.  The rocking, the sweet newborn baby snuggles, the first smile, first time eating baby foods, etc., but I am SO excited about what's to come for Miss Blayke this next year!  Hopefully she'll be walking soon, saying a few more words and showing us a little more of her personality!

Happy 1st Birthday Blayker!!  We had such an awesome day doing fun things!  We invited Grandma Glady along to Build A Bear.  I think she had the most fun out of all of us!  She had no idea what Build A Bear was all about, so that was fun!  After that we had lunch at The Olive Garden.  It's one of mom's favorites!  We came home so Blayke could nap and then went to Oh My Cupcakes for birthday dessert!  We bought a few extra cupcakes and brought them to daddy at work!

Friday morning we headed to the mall to Build A Bear!  We brought Grandma Glady along too!  She had never heard of Build A Bear so she thought it was SO much fun!!  The boys are recording their voices saying 'I love you Blayke' for inside the bears paw.  It turned out adorable!

Grandma stepping on the pedal to stuff the bear!

We chose the name Lilly and dressed her in cute little pajamas with donuts on them!

We stopped at the play area for a bit then headed to Olive Garden for lunch!
Blayke got to open her gift from Grandma Glady & Grandpa Les.  Her first purse!  She loved pulling everything out and putting it all back in!

After Blayke got her nap, we headed to Oh My Cupcakes!  Blayke and I shared a red velvet cupcake (The Marilyn) and we both loved it!

Mom took on a dog sitting job that I thought would be good for the boys, since they are always whining about getting a new dog, and so that we would have something to do all Memorial weekend while Derek worked.  I ended up doing most of the dog sitting but the boys did help some.  Brigs was the most excited about the puppy!  Her name was Sophie and the kids loved that she played fetch and tug of war.  Jaxon didn't do either of those things!
She looks terrified but she did really like the dog!

Our precious baby girl is ONE!
