Meet Brewer!

December 18th!

I surprised the boys with the news that we were getting a PUPPY!!  I had them walk around the block (like they were walking a dog) Pick chocolate pieces up out of the back yard (like they were picking up dog poop) and then had them open a package.  The package had a dog bed, leash, collar, etc.  When I explained to them what the walk & chocolate candy pick up was all about it all clicked!  They were SO EXCITED!  Boston and Brigham even got teary eyed.  This is a picture of the kids checking out their new puppy that we would be getting the next day!  The puppy's name was Scout with the breeder, but we chose the name Brewer!

December 19th:  Our new puppy is home!

 A 3 pound ball of fluff!

 Mama loves the puppy snuggles!

 We wanted him to have a snuggle buddy, since he was probably missing his sister, so we gave him Blayke's stuffed animal shihtzu!  They are the same size!

December 20

Brewer wasn't loving his kennel so we let him snuggle with us.  

 Tracy took the boys & Blaire to a matinee!  It was a quiet daycare afternoon!

Dec. 21

It was a great time to get the puppy because the kids are out of school for two weeks...which means they get to help out during the night!  Boston wanted to sleep right next to Brewers kennel in our room.

 A FULL HOUSE!  They all played so well together though!

Dec. 22

It's hard to tell them apart sometimes!  Brewer is doing well!  He hasn't seemed to miss his mama or sister too much, and has gotten better in his kennel each night.  He's a snuggler!
