Brigs is really starting to pick up on reading! So fun to see his progress!

Boston had a basketball tournament. He played awesome and did great shooting his free throws!
Wed. March 8
Blaykes 9 Month appointment! She did not like being weighed!
'Sure you can all hang out in the bathroom while I take a shower!'
I rarely get a minute to myself!
Brigs & Bronx had their first night of swimming lessons. This is Bronx's first year. I was kind of worried about how he would do but he did awesome! No tears & he was brave!
The boys put together Brigham's NFL US Map puzzle!
It's just Bronx, Blayke and I on Friday and Bronx is always good about helping out with a few chores!
Poor Bronx has always dealt with eczema issues on his legs. When he was 6 months - about 1 year, he also had some dry spots on the sides of his mouth, but those eventually went away and have never been an issue. His legs flare up so bad sometimes! Poor kid needed a steroid cream this time.
Blayke is starting to turn her legs in and lean forward!
Tuesday, March 14
Look at her go! She managed to scoot herself around on her butt to get to the coffee table.
Wednesday, March 15
She got up a little farther today!
Our first ever Mother-Daughter trip! We headed to Texas to surprise Grandpa & Grandma!
Glady, Les & Shana helped out with the kids until Derek got home from work. So thankful for family close by to help us out. Trips away wouldn't be possible otherwise!
Thursday morning in TX!
Grandpa & Grandma's neighbors borrowed us their bikes so we could all bike ride together. It was fun riding around the different retirement parks, and seeing where they have all lived. Super friendly people in the park too!
Thursday night we all went up to the community center for a 'Jam' and a supper. Different people in the park got up and sang and played instruments. Some were really good, and others....not so much! We had some good laughs! The kids did great with Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa in the morning & then Grandpa Les and Grandma Glady from noon until 8PM.
Glady always says 'They were as good as gold!'
Brigs & Bronx watching the State SFC game on the computer!
Friday, March 17
Grandma's cold was getting better, so she felt up for her morning ride! All 5 of us rode with Grandma in the lead!
Grandpa helping a neighbor out!
After lunch we went to a Pulga across the road. It was a bunch of tents set up with different vendors. People were selling anything and everything, new and used. We saw puppies, knives..(which was scary!) jewelry, fruit/veggie stands, etc. I was so excited I found some cheap lemons for my water!
And my $5 necklace!
After the Pulga it was time to get some sun! The pool was quiet, so it was nice and relaxing!
Grandpa grilled us a delicious supper!
Another neighbor borrowed Grandpa their golf cart, with the seat on the back so that we could all ride together! Grandpa took us on a pretty long cruise around the area! I just loved the fresh air!
Saturday
Facetiming with Derek and the kids. He's surviving!
Mama loved hanging out in the sun!
Daddy has Blayke all ready for bed! So so cute!
Poor Gramps wasn't feeling well tonight so we just sat around after supper and watched some tv.
Sunday
Grandpa didn't feel well enough to go to church, so we took it easy Sunday. Grandpa stayed in bed all day, so Lacey and I did some grocery shopping for Grandma & then sat up at the pool a few hours before we had to leave for the airport. We wanted to soak up as much of the sunshine as possible!
I had to get a picture of Grandpa & Grandma's patio door. They have an X in white tape on the screen. Apparently they try to walk thru the screen once in awhile, so the X helps them know if the door is open or closed :)
I knew Grandpa wasn't feeling well when he didn't even get out of bed to visit with us before we had to leave so I went into his room and chatted with him a bit. He's the best Grandpa. Such a big heart, so proud of all of us, and just so darn fun! It was an emotional goodbye.
Hard to leave Grandma too, but so thankful Mom is going to be staying an extra week. Especially with Grandpa not feeling well.
Anxious to get home to our families!
We joked that Lacey was going to need a plane ticket for her big zit!
