Christmas #2- Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa's!

Last night we celebrated Christmas at my Dad & Lisa's.  Fun was had by all, and everyone was spoiled with gifts!  The kids had so much fun opening all of their presents and watching Grandma and Grandpa open theirs.
Boston, Brigham, Paisley & Holdyn
Our annual family picture in front of the tree!
 Passing out presents!
B got a new Basketball Hoop for over his toy room door!
My beautiful niece Paisley showing off her new bead set from Auntie Jamie!  She had such an excited expression when she opened the gift bag!
A craft project for a wintery day...if it ever snows!
 Cars 2 Characters!
Grandpa Ron got a year subscription to the newspaper back home!
And what did Grandpa Ron get from Boston?
A blue pop up hamper!  Boston picked it out and bought it all on his own.  He was SO PROUD, and so excited when Grandpa Ron found the perfect spot for it in the laundry shoot!
His very first fishing pole!
Derek tends to borrow tools from my Dad and never return them...so he got his own air compressor for Christmas!
Another successful Christmas gift craft project... a candy jar that says Grandpa's Goodies!
Grandma Lisa got a beautiful new pink watch from Boston.  Another gift he picked out and paid for all on his own!
Someone rang the door bell.  I wonder who it was?!  Santa!  The kids were sure they saw the sleigh leave the front yard :)
Brigham was a bit cranky during gift opening so we didn't get any good pictures of him with his presents.  As soon as everything was opened, and everyone had calmed down from all of the excitement, he was all about climbing and playing!
Santa brought Boston & Paisley remote control cars.  At first, Paisley was a bit disappointed that she got a boy present, but as soon as we said that her and Boston could race each other she was ALL about it!
Brigham got his first race track from Grandpa & Grandma!  It's noisy, but both of the boys LOVE it!
Paisley showing Brigham how his new bus works!

I just wanted to mention that I wasn't on the naughty list.  Although there are no pictures of me from last night..I did get a gift..a very special gift.  I got a beautiful picture, with an even more beautiful message.  Lisa said as soon as she saw it, it made her think of me so I wanted to share it with all of you.  Thank you again!  Derek and I were also spoiled with a gift card to Lowe's to purchase some new light fixtures for our house and a gift certificate to the movies!

Living Life

Life is not a race- but indeed a journey.  Be honest.  Work hard.  Be choosy.  Say 'thank you', 'I love you', and 'great job' to someone each day.  Go to church, take time for prayer.  The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh.  Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper.  Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental- search for your purpose and do it as best you can.  Dreaming does matter.  It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.  Laugh often.  Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them.  Some of the best things really are free.  Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming.  Forgive, it frees the soul.  Take time for yourself -plan for longevity.  Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know.  Live for today, enjoy the moment.
