The invites!
Boston & Cole ready to get the party started!
Waiting for the drill sergeant to blow her whistle!
Goodie bags for the boys included a camoflauge bandana, a dog tag necklace & of course...some candy!
Enlistment Pictures!
They all wanted to smile for the camera, but I told them they had to give me an army face!
The birthday boy!

I put them into two teams. They had to chose someone on the team to act as the soldier who's legs were wounded in battle. They had to bandage up the leg and carry the soldier off the battle field!
We had an odd number of kids, so the team with 4 lacked a little muscle!
I threw around a few hundred army men in the yard!
We may be mowing them up all summer long!
We did 30 second rounds of 2 kids each to see who could find the most men!
Jackson & Jacob
Of course this was the most fun for the boys!
Each team had the same number of water balloons & whoever was the most wet when all was said and done, was the losing team! The tricky part was that they had to stay within the orange cones, and after a few grenades were thrown, the cones got closer and closer together!
The smiles on their faces explain all the fun they were having!
They were out of grenades, so they all stood waiting to get 'bombed' by the other team!
Poor Jackson broke one of his teams last balloons on himself!
The birthday boy got the last throw!
The boys had to run through the hose and then army crawl under the volleyball net! Fastest time won!
Brayden made sure everyone knew what an army crawl was.
Go B!
His shoe got caught up on the net!
And down came the obstacle course! Poor Lincoln was the last one to go through and it just wasn't holding up like I wanted and the wind didn't help matters. He was a good sport though!
Last stop...the Mess Hall for food & gift opening! The boys even got to try real MRE's! We skipped the ravioli and went straight for the beef jerky, crackers, pastries, mints & orange drink mix! And believe it or not, the camouflage cupcakes were made by me!
I was almost too proud to even let the kids eat them!
A water gun from Kaden!
Football from Jacob!
Boston was pretty excited about his new baseballs & water bottle from Lincoln!
Another football from Britton! We were in desperate need of new sport balls!
Boys are HARD on things!
Giftcard to Scheels from Brayden!
Another Scheels giftcard from Jackson! He's anxious to go buy some golfballs & tees!
Target card from Lincoln! He already told me that I couldn't spend it :)
More Target money from Cole!
And Boston ended his party with a bloody nose after he took an elbow to the face in a scrimmage game of basketball!
We survived the party!
He had a great afternoon with his buddies!
Thank you to everyone who made his 8th birthday extra special!
