Blayke sure loves her big brother!
She has discovered my 'office' and loves to climb up and mess with moms stuff!
This was just the sweetest thing to see!
We knew it would hit one of us eventually. Almost 90% of the daycare kids have come down with the flu in the last week. Poor Boston is the first to get it for us.
Friday, November 10
Thankfully Boston's flu bug was very short lived and he felt up to going to the State Football game to watch the Chargers bring home their first ever State Champs trophy! A fun thing for Derek & B to do together..although Boston ditched Derek for his friends as soon as they got to the game :)
Nov. 11
Blayke's eskimo coat must have been super comfy because she was ZONKED!
When we got home from the ball games she didn't even wake up when I laid her down to take her coat and shoes off!
So comfy and cozy in her bed. She loves the pillow we put in her crib. Almost like she is in a big girl bed...but mom's not ready for that yet!
Mom came down with a stomach bug during the night so Blayke and I stayed home from church. Blayke was zonked on my lap by 10 AM so we both went back to bed for a few hours. It was just what we needed.

Grandpa Les is out of town for the week so we brought Grandma supper and visited for a bit!
Blayke throws a fit if we try to help her with her gogurt! She is getting better at it, but we still usually end up with a little gogurt on the floor :)
Friday, November 17
I joined Brigham's class at the Children's Museum in Brookings for a fun day!

Saturday morning basketball! Brigs had quite a few hoops and played well! He's such a hustler!
Getting a few pointers from big brother! Sometimes they can just be so sweet to each other!
A good 4 hour nap for Blaykers!
Saturday Night = Girls Night!
I rounded up a group of friends to go to the new AR Workshop in town. It was a lot of fun!
We all want to go back!

Sunday night we set up the Christmas tree! Blayke loved helping! It was so sweet watching the boys let her 'hang' ornaments and then they would fix it for her.
The boys didn't even fight when we decided Blayke should put the star on top! Usually there's a meltdown! Blayke might have to do the honors every year!
Wednesday, November 22
The kids didn't have school so we had the Hadlers over. The kids were so excited to make forts in the basement and play Nerf guns but Bronx came down with a bug and he slept almost all day.
These yahoo's have lots of fun together!
The weather was just gorgeous over Thanksgiving weekend. So nice to get outside for fresh air!
Blayke fell and hit her eye so had a 'shiner' to show off.
The kids can stay entertained for hours when we let them turn the couch into a fort!

Wed. afternoon, November 29
Bronx & I had a movie date! We saw the movie The Star! It was so cute and such a good way to explain the Christmas story to young ones!
