We'll start with our family fun in January!
January 3
We celebrated a late Christmas with just the Gerdes kids. Grandma had some special gifts planned that NONE of us knew about!
The boys went first with their gifts.
Since Boston & Jeremiah were the only grandchildren when Papa Jerry died, they were the only grandkids with a special bear made of Papa's robe so Glady found Papa's favorite shirt and had a bear made for each of the kids.
The girls were next! They were all told to bring their Our Generation doll that Grandma had given each of the girls as birthday gifts earlier in the year. We just thought she wanted a picture of all the granddaughters with their dolls...but she had other plans!
Where's Blayke?!
Glady had someone make doll wedding dresses out of her wedding gown! The dresses are just beautiful! The blue tissue paper in the packaging is also the preservative wrapping from the original dress!
Blayke was happy the entire night, until it was picture time!

Jan. 7
Left church feeling extra blessed this morning! A year ago I was leaving church and headed to the Avera ER. It was Jan. 8th of 2017 that I had my stroke. So so blessed!

Bronx was headed to Grandma Glady & Grandpa Les' for a sleepover with Alliana!
She loves to dig in the drawer and wear hats around the house. She randomly was sucking her thumb all afternoon!
Cheering for their brothers at the SFC Basketball Tourney with static hair!
Boston had Lincoln Prins & Cole spend the night after basketball games. They spent most of their time eating snacks & playing Xbox with Derek!
Mom invited me to the 3M Holiday Party. The ventriloquist was hilarious!
Jan. 16
We headed to Brookings for Paw Patrol live with Norah Feenstra & Laurel! They had a blast!
Such a fun show!
Blayke is just so fun to watch play! Such a girly girl!

Bronx is usually the only boy around for daycare days, but he is pretty darn sweet to the girls!
Jan. 29
The morning didn't start off well. Blayke was sitting on one of the bar stools in the basement and doing craft with the big girls, and she fell off and hit her head. She cried pretty hard, acted real sleepy and started to puke within 5-10 minutes so off we rushed to the ER. Thankfully she perked up after being in the ER a bit and otherwise checked out ok.
