Today while we were eating lunch Boston got to talking about the baby coming. This kid says the craziest, and funniest things, you would think we were making half of it up but we aren't! Earlier in the week Boston finally learned that babies don't come out your belly button.. He now thinks they come out of a moms butt, and instead of explaining the girl parts to him we'll just go with the "butt" term for now! So today while we were eating he said to me "When you were in the hospital having me you said "owwww" when I was coming out of your butt". Derek and I just looked at each other and laughed. This crazy comment got me to thinking about doing an "interview" with Boston prior to his world changing with a sibling in the family in just a few days. I hope you enjoy his answers :)

What are you most excited about? Going to Grandpa Ron's house.
Do you want a baby sister or a baby brother? Brother
What do you want your brothers name to be? Tarzan
What if it's a baby sister? I'll name it Cherry.
But Cherry doesn't start with a B? Ok lets just call her Barry. (he's learning to rhyme in school!)
How are you going to help mommy when the baby comes? Nothing
Really, nothing? You mean you aren't going to be a good big brother? Ok, i'm going to feed the baby a bottle and baby food. That's all.
What kind of noises do you think the baby will make? Cry, whine and cry.
Do you think the baby will be cute? Yes
Cute like who? Me (meaning himself!)
What kinds of things do we have to do carefully around the baby? Don't mess with the baby. Can't climb on the baby or the baby's chair.
Do you think the baby will have any hair? No
Are you going to be sad that you aren't the only kid in the house? Yes, and then who are you going to love best mom?
My answer: Boston, I'm going to love you and the baby same. You will both be extra special to me.
