Thursday, May 21st! Day #1 of Summer Break! I only had a few daycare kids for the day, so we took a trip to the zoo and had a picnic lunch. Perfect weather!

Saturday, May 23: Once the boys got up and ready, we headed to Yankton, SD to visit Grandpa Ron & Grandma Lisa. They were camping for Memorial weekend with Lisa's family to help her celebrate her 50th birthday a little early! It was yucky weather, but the boys still had fun outside!

Sunday, May 24: It's been gloomy weather all weekend & Derek has been working. It was kind of a long weekend, but we did our best to stay busy. Rainy day project = planting flowers!
Mission accomplished!
When Derek was home on Monday we did some more work outside. We had some bushes that didn't survive the winter, so we dug them up & planted some new stuff!
Tuesday, May 26. Boston is up to bat & Bronx is digging in the dirt!

Wed. May 27. Brigham had a few fillings at the dentist, so I told him if he was brave, he could chose where we ate lunch. He did great, so Buffalo Wild Wings it was! Dad even got to take a break from work to tag along, so that made it extra special for the boys!
I heard Boston's ipad beeping so I glanced at it quick and saw this. He was trying to text his dad! Derek doesn't have an iphone, so the messages weren't going through. So sweet! They sure miss their dad when he works so many days in a row, and such a long hours. Derek's career definitely has his it's pro's and con's. As the boys are getting older I am noticing its effects on them more and more.
Thursday, May 28. It was Brigham's idea that the boys both wear their orange Puma outfits.
We went out and did some early Birthday shopping! Boston really wanted some Golden State Warrior stuff so we figured we better get it before it's sold out!
The Warriors made it to the NBA finals!
I'm trying to accomplish a few projects this week.. staining the swing set & organizing shoe boxes full of random pictures. I have quite the mess..
It looks brand new again!
Sunday, May 31. Bronx did this all on his own.

Monday, June 1st. We have been waiting weeks for our fireplace stone & backsplash tile to come in. It's finally here & now our indoor projects can get done!

June 3. It was Derek's morning to wake up early with the kids.
Bronx was up at 6 am. I wish these boys would learn to sleep in!
Bronx's personality has really started to show these past few months!
He reminds me so much of Boston!
Friday, June 5.
Boston attended a 2 day Warwick Shooting Camp. He had a lot of fun again!
After camp, we headed to Grandma & Grandpa's to help Lisa celebrate her official 50th Birthday!
